I wouldnt see it that negative.
Sure the new dvd is sub-optimal, but he still delivers some good shows. It's just that not every, I'd assume 20-30% are still good. And if you think of the dead ringer tour, for example, there were far worse shows (judging from bootlegs), See the Dortmund 81 (82?) show for example, do you really wanna say the shows this tour are worse? He does a few very good shows, but also many rather bad ones. (still the majority of the shows is still better than the 2005 tour)
And on the whole bat 3 thing:
I still prefer the album as it is now, instead of no bat 3 at all. Sure the production lacks on many tracks, but you still got some decent stuff I wouldnt wanna miss (pigs, for example)
and on the tdv concert:
that comparison is a bit unfair, didnt wanna know how the show would have sounded if they were all 60.
