Weird Al has the same problems as far as I know:
This, for example, is the reason why he couldnt put Youre Pitiful (= Youre Beautiful by James Blunt) on Straight Outta Lynwood. Blunt gave him permission to record the parody, but his record company refused to give him permission to release it on CD. So it was, same as the Dexy's song, released for free on the internet.
