| Have to agree with Pud here (!) - Dream Engine is just looking more and more dead in the water as time goes by. More worryingly, Jim is just not doing anything VISIBLE. It's all very well locking himself away and working on the Bat musical, but if Wicked is now at Jim's theatre of choice until Xmas 2008, that just tells me that Jim's people haven't even started trying to book the place for the opening of this show yet - and no theatre is going put aside a chunk of time for a project that seems to be still in the conceptual phase. TDE needs someone with energy and vision behind it NOW. It needs to be putting on shows, and touring all over the place. Pull in special guests - Bonnie, Todd, hell even Meat - just to get the name known and pull the punters in. Then (and only then) can we look forward to an album that stands at least a chance of being released to a receptive audience. > > In regards to Rinkoff, I don't know if his 'hands are > > tied', and I think Jim must have some influence over an > > album release. > > I'm not talking about an album release in any capacity at > the moment, purely just the gigs.
