| My Bruce fandom only stretches to his studio stuff from Greetings From Asbury Park through to Born in the USA, but I'd love to hear the version you mentioned. If you get a chance, send it over; barclay_rafferty@hotmail.co.uk I'm familiar with some of his '80s/'90s stuff; I own TGoTJ and think it's just 'okay.' I dig a song or two from Lucky Town/Human Touch too, but I've never actually taken the plunge and bought 'em. I've also been considering taking the plunge on Tunnel of Love - which usually gets decent reviews, but I don't particularly like Born in the USA so I'm somewhat skeptical. At the moment, my favourite is The River. I know it receives criticism for its taking one song and spreading it across a double album but I adore it! Sherry Darling, Out in the Street, Hungry Heart; all wonderful songs. | |
