| I am extremely disappointed that Jim's favorite player is A-Rod. I can live with the Yankee fandom, but A-Rod? Come on, man, don't do that to me! He's A-list talent with bush-league attitude. And disturbingly purple lips. If the Sox don't take the series, I would like to see Cleveland go all the way. I'm a huge fan of Wild Thing Rick Vaughn. Also, my co-worker gave me 10-1 odds that the Yankees wouldn't win the AL East. This was on Wednesday. He thought it was inconceivable that the Yanks could win 4 in a row and the Sox drop 3 out of 4. Soooo..... if the Sox win the pennant, I owe my friend $10.00. If they blow it and the Yanks take it, he owes me $100.00. I'll happily fork over the $10.00, but the $100.00 will be a sweet consolation prize. This same guy owes me $25.00 if the Sox lose in the first round of the playoffs. Yes, betting against my own team is shitty, but gambling is best done with a cold heart. > ... I don't think the Yanks can beat the Angles... Though > they won't have to face AA anyway!
