So then he's a sidenote on a sticker that gets removed after buying the CD. Woot. Currently however a sticker stating "with songs as ruined by Meat Loaf at his last 100+ concerts" Did you perchance know that quite a lot of people think that Meat Loaf is a band? The fact that he sounds different on almost all albums supports their view too. Apparently they think the band just exchanges one fat guy for another every few years. There were already some people who thought that the lead singer of the band Meat Loaf is called Jim Steinman and that was the reason why his name appeared on the cover. > His importance for the project aside: Marketing wise it > would be catastrophal to leave him out. OTOH, it might be a catastrophe to have him in. > Let's face it: nobody out there gives a crap who wrote the > album, they will go to see the show because its about a > meat loaf album, not because jim wrote it. Thing is, the show and the possible CD thereof are not and should not be a Meat Loaf album. He had his time, it's over. He received plenty of good songs, no need for additional ones. Anyway, he wouldn't know what to do with them. | |
