You gave yourself there the answer, why he should be more than just a sidenote in the booklet.
His importance for the project aside: Marketing wise it would be catastrophal to leave him out.
Let's face it: nobody out there gives a crap who wrote the album, they will go to see the show because its about a meat loaf album, not because jim wrote it.
