| I'm scared to post here anymore to unknown names! If I'm banned tomorrow, I'll know that I screwed up by doing this... The hair thing was hysterical. Rory Dodd's character was accused here of having a ferret on his head and JD had a fit over Zachary Throne's wig--although personally I thought it was damned hot, but hey, that's just me because it looked enough like Jim, so what the hell! That dude on Harry Potter, Malfoy's dad, was also pretty Jim-like--I watched the movie several times for that reason, how shallow is that? I do remember that Meat had serious second thoughts about the film at the end of the day when the producers were designed to have at but it was too late for him to bail, legally. I think he publically denounced his consent/involvement--I can't remember. To my knowledge Jim never cooperated or rendered a blessing. It was more like psycho therapy for Meat, the book anyway. It was a damned good book--I have one that Meat signed. I think Meat stood behind the book, but backed from the movie. Jim was tight-lipped over both but I know Jim's fansites enjoyed a surge of interest at the time all the same. You saw the film way before you were a Jim fan? For some reason that makes me feel really old tonight... Cheers! Leesa J > I'm pretty sure most of you have seen the Meat Loaf movie > about his life. > W. Earl Brown portrayed Meat Loaf and Zachary Throne > portrayed Jim Steinman. That said, I was wondering (Like I > always do)if the character of JIm Steinman was accurate to > the real Jim Steinman. > I seen the movie WAY before I was a Jim fan. Now, I know > Jim a little better (although not personally..damn...)but > I was still a little curious if Jim himself ever commented > on the movie or any of the portrayels(did I spell that > right???). > I think that they did an OK job an the Steinman character. > The wig they used for Jims hair had to go though. > Anyway, thanx for the time. | |
