Bonnie Tyler Album: New Songs or Old?

In her interview, Bonnie Tyler said Steinman has promised to provide one or two songs for her next album, to be done in 2008.

I saw somebody, forgot who, say they hope it's not just another remix of Total Eclipse. Personally, I hope it is, or at least a re-mix of some other old song. Hell, I hope Jim changes his mind and bails out of the project.

I think Bonnie Tyler's singing has declined considerably in quality, and any new Steinman songs would be wasted on her.

Any new Steinman songs that do exist should go to either to the Bat musical (if completed and worthy) or to a singer who is still in his or her prime. Preferably not to any of the singers who've already released Steinman songs, and not to the Dream-Engine. Although, if they went to the Dream-Engine the singing would at least be of good quality.

Discuss.
