Oh my god. You are absolutely correct, Bright Eyes. The last CD of hers was so bad I destroyed it myself so no one else would hear Jim that way. It had I think (you have to understand that my memory is bad and in my mid-forties it's worse!)'Making Love Out of Nothing at all' and maybe 'Two Outta 3' on it and they were desecrated horrendously. Really made me realise that Jim doesn't walk on water. Pimp daddy.
Bonnie's voice needs to retire with some dignity and the songs he wrote that 'made it' need to get retired with an ounce of intergrity.
Your comments or spot-on. Jim is a damned fool to commit new coveted material to a, sorry, but 'has been' vocally. Composers stretch beyond the vehicle for their work and Jim should.
By the way, I do apologise for accusing you of being Susan. That was not correct. I don't accuse 'without a shred of evidence'. Nor was your interpretation of my 'fanatical hatred' correct. That I do not have. You misunderstand. I think you tried to support her in your way whilst she was here. We don't agree on methods but points you make are very valid and I do respect your interpretations on Jim. And here that should rule.
