All we are getting, in commemoration of the album, is a dodgy 3CD repackaging of the 3 Bats (well, 2 Bats and 1 fake Bat. I still think there's a case for false advertising but, meh.)

I think one of the great American musical tragedies (and there are many) is that Jim and Meat seem to have no plans to "cap off" this whole saga. When I hear songs like "Not Allowed To Love", "What Part Of My Body Hurts The Most" and "We're Still The Children We Once Were", I feel sad. When I see Jim quoting lyrics from "Paradise Lost" and "The Monster Is Out Of The Cage", I am mortified.

Those lyrics, to me, were just as integral to the BAT saga as "Objects" was, as "Two Out Of Three" and "Paradise" was, and "Bat" itself. All this, possibly, great stuff, unheard stuff... that Jim has taken the time to write after what appeared to be a huge dry-spell. Why couldn't Meat just accept it and go with it? Why couldn't Jim work out his differences with Meat? or Meat work out his differences with Jim? It didn't matter that they hated each other, if they do, it just mattered that -- in spite of everything else, which is all well and good -- that they finished it off. I really feel "Conclusions & Climaxes" would have been that album and it would have redeemed the mistake. It would have been a fitting conclusion i.e. "Paradise Lost" just seems like it has to be the last statement of the trilogy

Sooo sad. I don't think the musical will make up for it either
