Yeah sorry I didn't make that very clear,
Whatever is playing in windows, regardless of whether or not my speakers are on or off, gets recorded directly onto the track.
AWWWW man i've just fixed it as I was thinking of this reply,
I went into the recording control panel and there's a fader called "What U Hear" and that was selected instead of, erm... "microphone"
In my defence I have never seen that "What U Hear" fader before, that thing's just came out of nowhere!
So thanks for the help gentlemen and at least now I know how to record directly from Myspace ;)
