With "Woman In White" as Andrew's "Blind Before I Stop". Come on, the advance sales for this musical will keep it running a year alone. Every musical fan in the world is going to want to catch this for curiosity's sake alone. All Andrew has to do is write a big song like "I'd Do Anything For Love" and the rest is irrelevant. ONE big hit that can sum up the whole show. If he gets this right, his career is revived. If he screws it up, he might as well retire because no one's going to take him seriously again.
This, to me, is like the Evil Knievel of Musical Theatre. Will Andrew leap over the sharks on his motorcycle? Or will he crash into the pool and get devoured by the screaming hacks of Fleet Street?
