| With any new musical the critics can ovbviously go either way (oooh er), but Phantom 2 is gonna get compared to the highest grossing musical ever, so it has a lot to live up to. I don't think ALW gives a shit whether his career is 'revived' or not, he has nothing to prove and a ton of money, but I do think he cares about the creation. In regards to a hit single, any show is gonna benefit, but I don't think he'll achieve that with David Zippel or Ben Elton. Tim Rice or Don Black maybe. Steinman of course.
