Limited compared to you - true. Problem is, the last 3-4 concerts over the last few years he got worse, not better. Remember this Aschaffenburg concert? That was really (!!!) magical (to me). He really took me to another dimension! In 1994 it wasnīt like that anymore. But he still got a decent voice back then.
I think you canīt definitely say he still has "it" or he has lost it. Itīs impossible to explain and to be objective! Thereīs only your opinion and mine. (And those of every other individuum.) My ears (voice) and eyes (show) tell me he has lost the magic. Thatīs nothing Iīm happy with because as you say, heīs (was) the only one out there at the moment who still fights for Jims music to be heard! I hope he recovers and can go on stage again doing this. A lot of people still feel what I felt back in 1991. Iīm glad for them. And not happy with what I fell now when I see and hear him live.
I canīt describe it better but I think you know what I mean.

Markus.
