Well, I'm a gullible person. When Jim talks about working with Gerald Scarfe, who's my all-time favourite animator from one of my all-time favourite albums "The Wall", then that gives me hope. Same as all the other people who are supposed to be working on it. I also don't really have a problem if "Bat" is different than the original "Neverland". The production of "Neverland" at the Theater Lab was a workshop. We already know that the screenplay was different, introducing Captain Hook as the primary villain and deserting Max & Emily, and the songs "Bad For Good" etc. I think, if Jim stays as close as possible to the Barrie storyline, in his dark ways, then it could be pretty cool.

I also don't like the idea of the big frivolous spectacular, with flying Russian wizards and Parkour and motorcycles "pirouetting". I'd prefer a legitimate stage-show, or something even more in the vein of "The War of the Worlds", serving the SONGS and the STORY and NOT the frivolous spectacle. It shouldn't just be an event. It should be the ultimate realization of Jim's STORY, and I hope they don't get it wrong. But I doubt it, because his creative team look far more accomplished than anyone on "Dance of the Vampires".

I'm still waiting on the official "explanation" from Warner Bros. as to why "Batman" got cancelled. Even around "Lestat", 2006, Gregg Maday said that he still hopes to do it. There's nothing wrong with telling anyone why a project got cancelled.
