To me, the Dream Engine was all about listening to Jim's music in a very intimate setting (Joe's Pub) and being in close proximity to Jim, Rinkoff, Margoshes, Mandy Gonzales, Rob Evan, Elaine, etc. It was just a dream to sit there and have these great musical intellects around you putting forth such great efforts right there in front of you.
I never really cared if TDE released a studio album. (Though I would still love to hear "Body" the way it should be!).
While I appreciate Rink trying to keep us excited when we meet with him about the future of TDE, let's face facts: It's been 2 years now since the last concert. Nuff said.
