Maybe not to the public but as individuals plenty do but usually the cost for an individual can be expensive. Who said we are the public anyway, we are interested parties with a vested interest in Jim Steinman. Some people on this board have been with it for years and I think they deserve to be able to gamble on something they like. Most shows or creative enterprises are looking for money. look how Marillion put out their last lot of CDs. They asked for money from their fans before they even wrote a note to pay for the making of the product. I think you need to get into this century and stop think that companies like Sony take all the risk so all the money. They sure as hell are not doing that with bands any more. Two albums and they are gone if the band don't hit jackpot - you think Sony are going to bail out BOOH if it gets tough after it opens? The intenet could help finance this show so think positively, it is going to be expensive so they will need it. "You will rock me on" just survived the first 6 months and it was touch and go.
