Britney Spears has one Dad and look how fucked up she is, so how fucked up will her kids be by having her as a mother?
I think it's about the quality of a parent and not just the quantity. Although we can say that having both Mum & Dad around is a good thing, if one of the parents is a smacked up druggie like Heath Ledger, or has an head full of broken biscuits, then the child is going to be pretty messed up by being in that sort of environment.
