| Body would be good. Would love to hear what a studio production of it would sound like (envious of those here that heard it from Rink) But what is the deal with Is Nothing Sacred? I don't get the appeal of this song to the fans. It's an okay tune, but as a single it misses on many levels. I've considered it like a filler song to fluff out an album. It's a good track to say "hey look I can sing", but to my ears it doesn't ever go anywhere interesting. The only way the song would work as a single is a complete overhaul of the arrangement. I would love to see Jim make an edgy album in this decade too. Not sure what image Rhydian will be promoting. A song like Left In The Dark would work, if it fit the artist. If the guy looks like he's swimming in women on a daily basis, LITD might seem a little...forced. I guess it comes down to wanting to hear Jim make a fresh album with a new artist, not just a bunch of good covers. There's a whole generation of artists to work with, and more importantly, a whole generation of potential Steinfans. Maybe something heavy, or gothic, or just the evolution of the massive sound he's given us for years. Dammit, make a new 2 minute intro to a new 12 minute song (but don't forget to throw in a "godspeed" or two). And at the risk of being bashed, maybe it's time for Jim to work WITH a younger Producer. Call in Dr. Luke, or someone, and say "Here's a song called What Part Of My Body Hurts The Most, now lets make something the kids will love" And if it' don't work, don't use it or b-side it. There's a lot of potential for this album to be a great thing, and a lot of potential for it to be forgettable. > I would imagine there is gonna be some Phantom 1 content > on the new Rhydian Roberts album. > > If/when Jim signs up, would love to see him produce ‘Music > of the Night’ and/or ‘Phantom of the Opera’, and maybe > even ‘All I Ask of You’ (duet with Charlotte Church for > the Welsh vote?). > > Of the possible Steinman songs on the album, would > primarily love to see something/anything new. > > This could be the outlet for ‘What Part of My Body Hurts > The Most?’, as well as promo for the Bat musical.
