| Just spotted this and thought some of you might be interested due to the somewhat tenuous Steinman connection... Elaine Caswell co-wrote a song called "Your Love is Tough" on the album "Do You Miss Me" by Robin Beck. One of the better songs on the album and I can imagine Elaine singing it herself. Robin Beck had an awesome voice back in the day. Desmond Child fans should check out her debut - Trouble or Nothing. Some of those vocals just send shivers through me (check out A Heart For You, Sleeping With the Enemy, and her version of Save Up All Your Tears - not to mention the Des produced version of If You Were a Woman (And I Was a Man). She's a bit raspier nowadays and has lost some of her range, but she's still a great singer. Her latest, 'Livin' On a Dream' came out last year and is worth picking up if you like her other stuff. - Danny. | |
