I wouldnt hold going to the U.K. as something special, an experience maybe but not special. (did that wasn't too impressed)
If you want to REALLY increase your horizons and really make an experience out of your time away, why not try Australia or New Zealand.
Experience the tropics and long white sandy beaches of Australia or the rugged majestic beauty of NZ.
