Aw, thanks Sean! It was a pleasure meeting you too, and everybody else in Berlin. A diverse bunch definitely - and all brilliant in different ways. Just wished I could have taken you all home with me...

Anyway, thanks for defending the matinee Krolock, I thought he was pretty good as well. The ending of "die unstillbare gier" made goosebumps march up and down my arms like a small army of icicles on speed. And even Sarah was okay really. I do agree with the comments but to be honest I hadn't really noticed that her voice was a bit thin until someone else pointed it out. But then this is my first time watching the show live so personally they could've cast Michael Crawford as Sarah (in drag) and the whole stage could have collapsed half way through the second act and I'd still have had a fantastic time!
Incidentally, I was lucky enough to be sitting right under a speaker so didn't have the problems with the sound that other people have mentioned. Although actually I haven't heard anyone else sitting in the Hockparkett Mitte say it was too quiet so maybe the problem was just in the stalls?
