I've still not seen the US version of the Office, but it's definitely on my list of things to check out. I absolutely loved the UK version.
Anyway; my life:
The good:
Last month I finally managed to move out of my incredibly horrible shared flat with the weird smell and the freezer that was frozen shut (I suspected there was probably something evil living in there) and into a nice clean one with a view of the river Thames and nice normal flatmates who understood about things like keeping the front door shut and not pouring rice down the sink.
The bad:
Work has sort of gone horribly wrong and I'm now signed off sick for two weeks with stress. I don't want to post anything too detailed here just in case anyone at work is a closet Stein-fan. But anyone who wants to know more is welcome to drop me an email. :)
...also if anyone can think of a job for a 26 year old archaeology and anthropology graduate and registered nurse (particularly a job that doesn't involve actually doing any nursing) please don't hesitate to get in touch ;)
The also good:
Making the most of being off sick, I've gone back up to Sheffield for the week where I have my car and my parents' cat to keep me company. This also means I have 24/7 internet access and can drown my sorrows in Rockman. :)
Thanks Jacqueline for starting this thread. I know there's lots of us having a rubbish time at the moment but it's really reassuring to have somewhere where we can all come and share that.
