I luckily didn't feel much effect of the writers strike. Lost was just delayed. Idol is on. American Idol is just the most intriguing show to me. That, plus the occasional monday night wrestling is the extent of my tv habits. It used to be much, much worse.
I confess, I don't think I've listened to much Steinman in at least a month. I go in musical cycles all the time, but they always return to Jim. Lately I've been discovering Heart. They have a lot of great songs. While I may not be listening to the music I still visit Rockman often. I come looking for a new blog or track of Jim's, but stay for the people here. There really is good group of fan's on the board. I hope to attend the next Steingathering in U.S., but it may be a loooong wait.
No huge changes in my life. Actually enjoying my job, which is a strange feeling. I'm looking forward to the Summer. After winter in Minnesota I need heat. And sun. And music. Time to go on the prowl. I am expecting to move to downtown Minneapolis. A change I think I really need. Suburbs and me don't seem to mix anymore. Looks like I'm putting together a rock show this summer. I'm excited to start booking shows again. If things go well, I have a few other artists I might seek. Partly for profit, but also for my own fan amusement.
