I don't know whether any of that applies to me, or not, but here goes:
The Good.
I've been working compulsively on "Don Claude" and "The Nightsail Chronicles", just about the only thing I care about writing-wise. I'll probably be working on them for the rest of my life, but they're in a cool state at the moment. I was working with an American producer, and my name is still attached to one of his projects, but things change.
My "Batman" site has been a continual success since I opened it in 2006. It's been getting 50-100 hits a day and it's almost clocked 20,000 hits. Some of the Batman community are opening up to Jim and noticing the similarities between The Batman Chronicles and Jim's work. Because of the site, I've been asked to create 2 official websites for writers/composers based in Europe. Not bad. Considering how slow life is for me.
The Bad:
Mum started getting the flu after Easter which turned out to be Pneumonia and possible Peri(peri-something. I've gone blank on the medical term. It's sometimes mistaken to be a heart-attack.) But she's getting better. My elder brother just flew off on a worldwide trip before it happened as well.
Other than that, I can't say.
I've been listening to a lot of music, but more musicals again. "Nosferatu, The Vampyr" by Bernard J. Taylor, "Dracula" from Chris Orton which I'm really warming up to, and "Lestat" San Francisco Press Reel Demos. Ohhhh, and the latest batch of Wildhorn shows. "Carmen" is opening in Prague, Czech Republic, in October followed by "Rudolf" in Vienna and "The Count of Monte Cristo" in St. Gallen.
