For me Clever, Intelligent lyrics are just as important as the melody. But to a stupid radio public who rarely listen to or understand lyrics the most important thing is a melody... except when it comes to Rap or Hip Hop... then it is all about having a stupid repetative Beat and shouting fuck and whore and nigga and kill the cops and stuff like that a lot.
