| I thought it was a great resolution for the film. It wrapped up his character and did a great job of showing what he'd become. I really enjoyed it, but the ending certainly wasn't for everybody. P.T. Anderson movies always end sort of like that, though--his movies are always too big and sprawling for any clear-cut resolution. But too each his own. Did you like No Country for Old Men? It's funny that the two big movies (award-wise) from last year had very unfulfilling endings, in a way, though I think that both of their endings were excellent matches for the movies they were attached to. | |
