My fave John Farnham recording is "Jesus Christ Superstar" from 1992. He does the meanest "Gethsemane". I sat there with chills. Another thing, an old friend of mine lives across the road for him but as if he's going to knock on the door and say "Hi, you should record FCOL by Jim Steinman." ("Who?" "He writes songs for Meatballs". "Ohhh, yes. Yes, right. Come in.") I'd also love if Anthony Callea would record a Steinman song. His "Prayer" is one of the best live performances I have ever seen.
