I seem to recall musings going on in the past about which artists could sing which songs should a BooH Musical concept album be released. Those kind of musings never really interest me so I didn't take much notice at the time.
HOWEVER, now that this particular artist / song pairing has entered my head I'm not going to be a happy man until I hear it come to fruition, damn it:
John Farnham doing For Crying Out Loud. Oh yes, it'd be heaven. Oh it'd be so great, it'd be the best version of the song ever conceivable.

I'm sure there'll be people saying how lame as shit Farnham is, of those who have had any exposure to him, but god the guy's great. I'm thinking of starting a letter writing campaign to his management company until he records the song -- hey Ryan you can help me with that bit :o). With some kind of Steinman instrumentation would be even better.
He DID do a collaboration on a new version of We Will Rock you with Brian May and Roger Taylor a few years back, but who hasn't. :o) (The difference being his version was truly fantastic).
