Well I suspect the producers (and Jim) will probably want some promotion BEFORE the show opens?
I presume you are suggesting a casting TV show will 'cheapen' the public's view of 'Bat'?
If the casting show is done well, I think it can only heighten the anticipation for the musical. A positive in my book.
