hard to say as Diane Warrens style is pretty similar to Jim's (only at the first look, of course), power ballads.
I wouldnt say that he was trying to copy the Steinman style, it is simply the Meat Loaf style, which is heavily influenced by Jim.
If you want to argue like that, then nearly every non-Jim song/album hes ever done has tried to copy Jim.
