Actually, it has. Steinman conceived the songs that became "Bat Out Of Hell" and a winning formula. Everyone else merely tried to live up to that for whatever reason. Marketing, quality of song material etc. There's nothing wrong with that, what sells is what sells and he'd be a fool to ruin a good thing. But quantity is not always quality. I like "Bad Attitude", "Welcome To The Neighborhood" and "Couldn't Have Said It Better". But, TMIL, is without a doubt the worst album he's ever made.
