Earlier this year, I tried to make a list of 100 things to do before I die, but I seem to have misplaced it somewhere. All I can find are the first 21 points. Highlights include
- Write a really good story
- Make a photo worthy of blowing up and framing
- Learn to read, write and speak French (again, and this time to a usable level)
- Perform live with a band
- Be financially independent, so that I don't have to work for money anymore and can start working on some worthwhile cause
- See the stars in the Sahara
- Find at least ten iconic variations on "Like the Pet Shop Boys said: what have I done to deserve this?" and "Om de grote filosoof Frank Boeijen te citeren: zeg me dat het zo is"* and have them ready for use at any appropriate moment
- Cycle across the Afsluitduik in less then 90 minutes (~ 20 km/h or 13.3 mph for those so inclined)
- Become a renowned specialist in something
- Stop being an impossible know-it-all
- Read every book Stephen King has written (under what alias)
I should finish that list of 100 things sometimes.
* Which would roughly be equivalent to "To cite the great philosopher Bon Jovi: say it isn't so", but that song isn't that iconic to be usable
