It's true, well some of it is. Meat did say he had an hand in writing some of Bat1 (Paradise By The Dashboard Light) but I can't remember Bat2 being mentioned. Meat used it to claim part of an entitlement to use the name 'Bat Out Of Hell' for Bat3, trying to undermine Jims claim as sole writer for Bat1.
I think most people have pretty much gotten over it and moved on, obviously some haven't. It doesn't help by the fact Bat3 was sub-par to the other two Bat albums, but again, most people have pretty much gotten over it and can accept Bat3 as TMIL instead.
