I'll guarantee that it's the other way around. Meat didn't make any (real) money from Bat 1, Dead Ringer and MATLAF because he was sued by Sony for breach of contract when he walked out mid-sessions for MATLAF. He was also sued by Steinman when he couldn't complete the recording of Bad For Good. Steinman, however, wrote all the songs on Bat 1, DR, Bat 2, half of TMIL, and had huge hits with Bonnie Tyler, Celine and others, plus his musicals, ie Whistle and Tanz. Steinman was also never stripped of his royalties from Bat and DR. I will bet you anything yo ulike that Steinman is FAR richer than Meat, and I'll also go so far as to say that the reason Meat still tours is because it's the only real income he has.

Now I await the inevitable flaming, and accusations of being a loafer ;-)
