Love this song, especially the keyboards and BV's.

I'm not sure if he has any involvement (arranging/producing) with this demo, but it does have a Delta House/Deadringer vibe to it.

The drummer Bev Bevan was the main driving force behind ELO 2, and the song was co-written by John Payne, who was lined up to be the vocalist.

Jim was recruited to produce and was obviously played demos by the group, and even offered them 'Anything For Love'.

I think Jim was onboard for a few months, but couldn't agree terms with their manager (the infamous) Don Arden.

I think it was after Jim was no longer involved that he suggested Eric Troyer to them, as they were looking for a writer/singer.

As with a lot of Steinman projects, shame this didn't work-out; would love to have heard his production on A.L.O.
