| Shakespeare's been dead for nearly 400 years, it's hardly fair to bring him into the mix. But I think that's the point, 400 years ago it was all the rage and renaissance fairs are exactly what they're intended to be - Renaissance, so we can give them a pass aswell. But writing in this day and age as if the person is pretending to be Shakespeare when clearly they're not is a bit bullshitty. > Shakespeare. And assholes at Renaissance "faires" who > think they're hot shit because they stick "eth" on every > other word. > > > 'tis often that I ponder > > whilst a flux of insatiable hunger > > plagued my psyche > > (doth I type that: jiksey!) > > > > I yearn to know > > This I ponder: > > Doth anyone speakest like this > > That I wonder > > > > > > > > Seriously... does anyone ever actually use that kind of > > pseudo-antiquated nonsense? | |
