I don't use Pandora, but I was exploring the site, and these are some of the characteristics they use to describe Jim's musical style. Thought it was interesting.
basic rock song structures
a subtle use of vocal harmony
acoustic rhythm piano
call and answer vocal harmony (antiphony)
demanding instrumental part writing
mixed acoustic and electric instrumentation
a clear focus on recording studio production
intricate arranging
