Why can't a song be just either good or bad and not have to be in some way Steinmanesque?. Is there a fear that if Steinman's name isn't dropped in there somewhere then people won't check it out?
On Tom Jone's latest album there's a song called The Hitter and it sounds sod all like Steinman but it's a great song anyway.
