Yeah, it's mostly TSO's success. And I can't blame them for going for the gig that actually makes money. But if Savatage didn't make any money, I can't see how bands like Jon Oliva's Pain and Circle II Circle can.

The whole thing that bugs me the most about this state of limbo are all the contradicting rumors. Caffery has always said he'd drop whatever he's doing for Savatage, but that it's not up to him. Oliva says he wants to be doing Pain, and then he says he wants to do Savatage but it's not up to him, and then he doesn't want to do it anymore.
Hopefully, after Nightcastle is finally done and the rumored tour is over, there'll be one final Sava tour or album or whatever, with the announcement that after that, it's over. I could live with that.
