Best: The day before Christmas eve when my (female) flatmates and I stayed up watching Mamma Mia and singing along (very) loudly whilst the boys assembled and then played with a Scalextric* track that ran around the Christmas tree and all the way round the room.
Worst: I was working nights over Christmas on an intensive care unit. It's quite depressing how many people choose Christmas Day to try to commit suicide.

*In case anyone is unfortunate enough to live somewhere where you can't get this, it's basically a model racing track with little cars powered by an electric circuit running round the track.
