Ask anyone who knows -- I can't keep my mouth shut to save my life, sometimes to my detriment. Having read the full script, to those who aren't rushing to judgment, let me just say that it not only articulates but improves upon the German. This is the finest rendition of the show in any language, poetry of its own approaching Sondheim, while remaining true to the spirit of the German.
