I am wondering if anyone can tell me details about Jim's Holding Out For A Hero collaboration with Dean Pitchford. I know that Jim wrote just the lyrics when he collaborated with Andrew Lloyd Webber on Whistle Down The Wind and that he wrote just the music when he collaborated with Michael Kunz on Tanz (I shouldn't say "just"). But what about the Dean Pitchford collaboration? Did Jim write the lyrics but not the music or the music but not the lyrics? Or did they write different parts of the song? To me the "I'm holding out for a hero" line sounds like Jim both with the melody and with the lyric. Also, does anyone know how they got together and if they wrote any other great songs?
