I think that Jim is still being very creative, but these days in a different way. It looks like he is pouring all of his effort into the Bat musical. He has being doing so for a long time but you have to remember that he concentrated on Bat 2 for a long time and the results were very impressive. I hope and pray that the end result of his current project will be fantastic. Finding the right theatre is the main problem. At the moment there is a long line of shows waiting to get into all the major West End theatres. There has never been such a traffic jam. It is sort of proof that the shows must go on despite the credit crunch. But all the frustration that Jim and the producers have experienced will be worth it. This musical could make Jim the household name he should be. There are still people in the United Kingdom who think that Meat Loaf wrote Bat. Of course the media know all about Jim and die hard fans know all about Jim but Bat the musical will elevate Jim above Meat Loaf, at least in the United Kingdom. Therefore it could well be a good thing that Jim is concentrating on producing a fabulous show instead of song writing or music production. He has had great success with those types of creativity in the past but this change might really pay off. He was not the master of the other shows he has worked on. Andrew Lloyd Webber was the master of WDTW. Roman Polanski was the master of Tanz. David Sonenburg and others took over DOTV on Broadway. Jim can not be blamed for it's failure. This time Jim is the master. If he did another Bonnie Tyler album now it would distract him.
