Am I alone in this?

I dont get what the big deal is about the "Steven Stuart Stories". If the guy is lying then so what, it is a clever story he/she came up with to get people talking, and it did just that.

If he/she is telling the truth, then everyone here trying to argue or insult this person is going to turn buddy buddy very quick and ask for insight etc.

Either way I find it a win win. One case we get to read more crazy talk of a Jim fan. The other we learn info that "The Man" himself wont share with us. I am one of the few who got a kick out of Susan. Maybe I am wrong for finding mentally disturbed people interesting. But a lot of people out there liked A Beautiful Mind didn't they?

I dont have an issue with Smeg. Pudding and I only ever fought once... but at the risk of turning on thier bad sides I want to ask, why the heck is the "Steven Stuart Story" such a big deal?

I have read his story and yet I am still working and making money. I still have an apartment I live in. I still have food on the plate. The falseness or truthfulness of it hasn't affected my life yet. I know how calling out a liar and finding out you are right can make a person feel (growing up I had a friend who said he had royalty in his family and would get thousands of dollars in gifts every Christmas from them) but seriously, what is the benefit or detriment of Steve's story?

I had a pretty fantastical story of meeting Mick Foley and Jim Cornette at an autograph signing. I wore a Meat Loaf shirt and they both commented on it and we had a discussion and Jim was brought up by James E. Cornette. I shared that story and not only was I NOT called a liar, but even Jim Steinman himself commented on it in one of his blogs. Now I COULD have been lying (even though I was not and still enjoy sharing the story with people to this day) but if I was, who would have been hurt by it? Maybe Jim would have been disappointed since he is a Cornette and Foley fan...

Anyways, time to get back to work... lol
