'Making Love' springs to mind as Meat will probably say 'it was always meant for me' (in this case he might be right, as I think Jim offered it for the 'Midnight' album). He'll then probably ruin it by doing it as a duet with some unknown on his managers roster, who they want to 'push'. All of the above applies to 'Eclipse' as well (god forbid). Having said all that, if he's working with Rob Cavallo (in 'Black Parade' mode), I could see them re-doing 'IKYIYDCB' and it working great, but I doubt Meat would want that. What I would also love to see is Paul Jacobs/Sarah Durkee writing him some new stuff. In any case, I always look forward to a new Meat album, and it will be interesting to see what he does (I only hope he doesn't call it 'Bat Out of Hell 4: The Lawyers Strike Back' - LOL). | |
