I never said that Jim hasn't whored himself out in the past. I just said that he can have a hit without having to do that again.

Simon Cowell rules teenybop world - he doesn't run the music industry. If you want to record with the Westlifes or Take Thats of this world then you have to deal with him. If you want to record with a new artist - or a credible, talented, established artist - you don't. Let's not forget that Cowell's latest X Factor protege, 16yo Eoghan Quigg, is being ridiculed in the British press (his -ahem - "crotch enhancement" burst onstage) and has just released an album that is being absolutely slated from all corners.

Call me picky, but I don't want those sort of chumps involved with Jim's music, and I don't think he needs them. Jim might think differently, or those around him might, but it doesn't mean I have to see ANY Jim product as a good thing. There's only so much polishing a turd can take.
