Comparing someone to a downs syndrome sufferer on a public forum is completely different. You're making a very simple connection - downs syndrome = dumb, thick, stupid. Something to sneer at. It always smuses me how the people who bleat that they are being "anti-PC" actually just use it to justify being rude, abusive or bigoted. Being anti-PC is railing against stupidty like calling a blackboard a chalkboard.
