Sky News in the UK is doing the same thing. They were counting each day until the magical 100 number was reached. I'm not sure why the whole world gives that number so much importance. To me, day 96 was more interesting. I agree that all the things you mentioned cannot be fixed in such a short time period. The only thing is that Obama is making people feel better when things are very bleak. Even in Europe and we didn't vote for him. His tour really made Europeans feel more positive about a dreadful situation. And his wife is more popular than he is. We need a couple like the Obamas in these difficult times. It will take him a long time to fix the serious problems you mention but in his first 100 days he has achieved something positive. | |
